- 1 sheet Puff Pastry (Thawed)
- 1 bunch Asparagus (Trimmed)
- 4 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 large Egg (Beaten)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each rectangle of pastry.
- Place 2-3 asparagus spears on top of the cheese mixture and fold the pastry over to enclose the filling.
- Seal the edges with a fork and brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Place the bundles on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the cheese mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
