Description
Delicious Cajun chicken hamburgers made with ground chicken and fresh vegetables.

- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Onion (finely diced)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (finely diced)
- 1 pound Ground Chicken
- 1–2 Tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 3 Cloves Garlic (minced or 1 Tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
- 8 ounces Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon hot Sauce (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 4 Hamburger Buns
Instructions
- Melt the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium low heat.
- Add the diced onions and bell pepper. Sauté for 7-8 minutes until softened.
- Add in the ground chicken, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
- Season the chicken with the cajun seasoning. Cook for 3-5 more minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until you can start to smell the garlic.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, brown sugar, hot sauce, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Cook on low for 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently until the flavors are combined and sauce has thickened.
- Serve over the hamburger buns and enjoy!
