These delicious thumbprint cheese appetizers are perfect for any gathering!

- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Hot pepper jelly, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Scoop small portions of the dough (about a tablespoon each) and roll them into balls. Place on a lined baking sheet.
- Using your thumb or the back of a teaspoon, gently press down to create an indentation in each dough ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before spooning hot pepper jelly into each thumbprint.
- Place appetizers on a platter and serve.
Notes
- These appetizers can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
