- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
- Mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut the dough into triangles measuring about 3 inches wide at the base.
- Brush each triangle with the herb butter mixture and sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
- Roll each triangle tightly from the wider end towards the tip and arrange them in a tree shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, add red pepper flakes to the herb butter mixture.
- These triangles can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
