Description

Delicious triangular pizzas filled with cheese and herbs, perfect as an appetizer or a fun snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  3. Mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Cut the dough into triangles measuring about 3 inches wide at the base.
  5. Brush each triangle with the herb butter mixture and sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
  6. Roll each triangle tightly from the wider end towards the tip and arrange them in a tree shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • For a spicier flavor, add red pepper flakes to the herb butter mixture.
