Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually alternate adding the dry mixture and milk to the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.
- Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling before transferring to a serving plate and dust with powdered sugar.
