Description

Delicious chocolate chip cookies with an Easter twist!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter-themed chocolate candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and Easter-themed candies if using.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
