Decadent chocolate cherry bourbon balls, perfect for a sweet treat or special occasion.
Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup finely chopped dried cherries
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (optional)
- Whole or chopped dried cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar gradually and mix until thick. Stir in cherries, pecans, bourbon, and vanilla.
- Chill mixture for 1 hour or freeze 20–30 minutes until firm. Scoop tablespoon portions and roll into balls. Chill again 20 minutes.
- Melt chocolate with optional coconut oil. Dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate and place on parchment. Add a cherry garnish before chocolate sets.
- Let chocolate harden 15–20 minutes before serving or storing.

- Chilling the mixture is crucial for easier handling when forming the balls.
- Use a fork to dip the balls into chocolate for a smooth coating.
