Description

Delicious mini cocktail sausage rolls wrapped in flaky puff pastry.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound mini cocktail sausages
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry until smooth. Cut it into strips about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
  3. Place one mini sausage at the end of each strip and roll it up tightly. Arrange the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and thyme for the glaze.
  5. Brush each wrapped sausage with beaten egg and drizzle or brush some glaze over them.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
