Ingredients
Scale
- 6 ripe Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ½ medium onion, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp lime juice (about 1 lime)

- ½ tsp ground cumin (optional)
Instructions
- Add tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and cumin (if using) to a food processor or blender.
- Pulse until desired consistency is reached—chunky or smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice if needed.
- Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Serve chilled with chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
