Description
Delicious grilled chicken kabobs marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
- 4 cups vegetables of your choice (bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and/or pineapple)
- 4–6 wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Add the cut chicken pieces to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated in the marinade. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for at least 15-30 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, chop your chosen vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
- Thread pieces of chicken and vegetables alternately onto skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kabobs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Once done, take your kabobs off the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the chicken for longer.
- Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
