Description

A comforting one-pan lasagna made with no-boil noodles and a delicious meat sauce.


Ingredients

  • 9 oz no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Break the no-boil noodles into pieces and nestle them into the sauce. Ensure they are submerged.
  4. Layer with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and reduce heat to low. Cook for 20-25 minutes until noodles are tender and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Top with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily adjusted by adding vegetables such as spinach or mushrooms.
