Description

Delicious pink chocolate Oreo truffles that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz pink chocolate melts or white chocolate with pink food coloring
  • Pink and red sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are fine crumbs.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until completely combined. The mixture should be smooth and uniform.
  3. Shape Truffles: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You should have about 30-35 balls.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt Chocolate: While the truffles are chilling, melt the pink chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until smooth. If using white chocolate, add pink food coloring after melting.
  6. Dip Truffles: Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  7. Decorate: Quickly sprinkle the truffles with pink and red sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  8. Set Truffles: Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for faster results.

Notes

  • Consistency: Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to make mixing easier and smoother.
  • Crumb Fine: Make sure the Oreo crumbs are very fine to achieve a smooth texture.
  • Even Coating: Use a fork to lower and lift the truffles into the chocolate for an even coating and to let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Customize: Feel free to switch up the decoration with different colors or use edible glitter for a festive touch.
