- 200g sliced ham
- 200g sliced cheese (such as mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to form a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Layer Ingredients: Lay the slices of ham evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Layer the cheese slices on top of the ham.
- Roll the Dough: Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a tight cylinder, tucking in the ends as you go to seal the roll.
- Seal and Season: Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter for added flavor.
- Serve: Allow the roll to cool slightly before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
