Description

Delicious meatballs cooked in a savory sauce, perfect for parties or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (20 oz) frozen meatballs (or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • Green onions (diced)
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place the meatballs in your crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and brown sugar. Pour this sauce over the meatballs.
  3. Toss the meatballs to ensure they’re fully coated with the sauce.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours or on low for 2-4 hours, stirring occasionally to evenly distribute the sauce.
  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, sprinkle them with diced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe can be adjusted to make more or less, depending on your crowd.
  • Serve with toothpicks for easy eating.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick, if desired.
